Beautiful wildlife paintings of animals from all over the world. These watercolour and animal paintings make the perfect centrepiece for decor of all types.
Wildlife art inspiration, quote from the artist, James Hollis: -
“I try to regularly visit safari parks and animal sanctuaries throughout the UK to sketch, photograph, and study exotic animals from all over the world. Each one of my wildlife paintings is closely based on the animals I see during these visits.
Some of my favourite subjects are large cats in their groups. I remember watching a majestic, scarred old male lion at sunset in the tall grass with his pride of lionesses. I went to take a photo, to capture the stunning moment, but accidentally leaned on my car’s horn, startling both the lion and me only slightly spoiling the moment.
I am inspired by the wonderful BBC animal documentaries to see more animals and create even more stunning wildlife art. One of my dreams is to go to Africa to sketch and paint this wonderful continent and all its wildlife.”
